With great pride and enthusiasm, we announce Selene Vedema 2024, set to take place in the imposing setting of Selene Restaurant and its wine caves on the 20th and 21st of September 2024. Always in collaboration with Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis, the Selene Vedema is prepared to meet and exceed the expectations of its guests from Greece and around the world. This year, wine and food enthusiasts will be charmed by even more unique events and happenings. Alongside the much-anticipated masterclasses and tastings, the Selene Vedema will host renowned guests of honour and offer magnificent gastronomic experiences, all paired with some of the world’s most iconic wine labels.

In recent years, volcanic wines have ignited fervent discussions within wine circles, captivating enthusiasts with their high energy, tension, and distinctive character. Join us for a unique masterclass as we delve into the fascinating world of volcanic wines, renowned for their dynamic expression of terroir and intense minerality. From the volcanic slopes of Etna and Tenerife to the sun-drenched vineyards of Santorini and the historic cellars of Tokaji, prepare to embark on a sensory journey like no other. Guiding us through this experience are two esteemed Masters of Wine: Yiannis Karakasis, author of ῾The Wines of Santorini᾿ and Poland’s first MW Wojciech Bonkowski. Four-hands Michelin Star Dinner

A most memorable experience for any sophisticated gastronomy lover awaits at Selene Vedema’s final evening. Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini joins forces with Greece’s only 2 Michelin-starred chef Giorgos Papazacharias, from the Athenian Delta Restaurant, and presents guests with a unique culinary adventure, unlike any other experienced before. The two renowned chefs will be cooking side by side, creating a menu graced by Michelin stars and fit to be enjoyed under the starry Cycladic sky of Santorini Island inside the imposing setting of Selene Restaurant.
