Held in the iconic setting of Selene Restaurant and its historic wine caves, this year’s event once again exceeded expectations, offering a two-day celebration of Santorini’s winemaking heritage and global gastronomy. In collaboration with Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis, the Selene Vedema delighted wine and food enthusiasts from Greece and beyond. Highlights included experiential masterclasses led by internationally acclaimed Masters of Wine Yiannis Karakasis and Wojciech Bonkowski. Guests were also treated to an extraordinary wine dinner featuring the legendary Giovanni Gaja and the culinary artistry of Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini. Adding to the magic, a four-hands dinner showcased masterful culinary creations, perfectly paired with iconic wine labels. Local producers from Santorini shone alongside globally renowned wines, offering guests an unforgettable journey through the world of wine and fine dining in the enchanting ambiance of Selene. Selene Vedema 2024 was a true testament to Santorini’s vibrant cultural and gastronomic scene, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating future editions.
