Τ-Oinos winery has acquired cult status over the last decade thanks to its unique terroir and detailed work by world-famous consultant winemaker Stephane Derononcourt who oversees viticulture and winemaking. Join Yiannis Karakasis MW and Stephane Derenoncourt in the iconic Selene Antique Wine Caves as they present new and old vintages of famous Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko and Mavrotragano. Wines will be paired with a tailor-made menu by Michelin- star Chef Ettore Botrini.
Located in a terroir full of scattered granitic rocks, a rare global geological phenomenon, producer Alexander Avatangelos and world-class sommelier Gerard Margeon have accomplished the impossible. To revive the vineyard of Tinos and then to give a cult status to the winery with the wines appearing in the best restaurants in the world. With the world-renowned Master Vigneron Stephane Deronancourt on the team, T- OINOS produces some of the most stunning terroir wines one can find such as Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko and Clos Stegasta Mavrotragano with the Rare bottlings being wines from another planet.
Derenoncourt and his team now work with a populous portfolio of estates in Bordeaux and elsewhere, including Domaine de Chevalier, Clos Fourtet, Clos de l'Oratoire and Chateaux Pavie-Macquin, Chateau Malescasse, Canon-la-Gaffelière, La Gaffelière, Petit Village, Smith Haut Lafitte, Brown, Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Rol Valentin, Prieuré-Lichine and Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarrosse. In June 2008, Derenoncourt and Vignerons Consultants was hired by Francis Ford Coppola to work on the Napa Valley property Rubicon Estate Winery. Other Derenoncourt projects abroad include engagements in Italy, Austria, Spain, Turkey, in Syria with Domaine de Bargylus, and in Beqaa Valley, Lebanon with Château Marsyas.
